Student faints in Chemistry Building

A 20-year-old female student was taken to Sparrow Hospital in Lansing at 3 p.m. Feb. 7 after fainting in the Chemistry Building, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The student had given blood earlier in the day and fainted during class, falling and striking her head on the floor, McGlothian-Taylor said.

She was transported to the hospital by the East Lansing Fire Department and was conscious prior to transport.
