A 49-year-old man from New York City, was arrested between 12:45-1:15 a.m. Feb. 2 for being drunk and disorderly and for having an open container of alcohol near the College of Law Building, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
Police came to the scene after a caller said the man was being disruptive on campus, McGlothian-Taylor said.
When police arrived, the man refused to leave the premises and was uncooperative with officers. He was arrested after alcohol was found on his person.
He was taken to Ingham County Jail and held on $500 bond.
His arraignment date is set for Feb. 22.
