Senior cornerback Chris L. Rucker waived his right for an arraignment Wednesday in East Lansing’s 54-B District Court, according to a court clerk. Rucker was charged with one count of operating under the influence, or drunken driving, Oct. 10.
There has been no date set for Rucker’s pretrial hearing.
Rucker is currently more than half-way through a 12-month probation he received in March, which stems from a November 2009 altercation in Rather Hall, in which 15 members of the football team allegedly attacked students and fraternity members.
In February, Rucker pleaded guilty to two counts of assault and battery in connection with the incident. A stipulation of the probation prevented Rucker from purchasing or consuming alcohol while on the probation.
