MSU student finds, retrieves stolen bike

October 19, 2010

An MSU student found and retrieved her bike Monday after it was stolen on Friday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The student, a 19-year-old female, locked her bike, a white Thruster, outside East Wilson Hall Friday afternoon, McGlothian-Taylor said.

When the student discovered the bike missing, she looked for it near the C-Wing of Wells Hall where she had class. She found the bike near the building with a different lock on it.

The student called the MSU police Parking Services, where an officer confirmed that the bike was registered in the student’s name. Police removed the lock from the bike.
