Old Town to host annual BluesFest

The Old Town Business & Art Development Association, or OTBADA, will host Old Town BluesFest 2010 this weekend, from 4 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. today and 1 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Saturday in Lansing’s Old Town.

The festival features local food, beverages, art, clothing and crafts, as well as nationally-acclaimed blues musicians.

Old Town galleries and boutiques will be open during the festival as well.

Musicians featured include Jimmy G & the Capitols, Paul Miles, Rusty Wright Band, Yakity “Yak” Smith & Mike Espy, and many more.

River Boat Taxi Tours will offer a water taxi down the Grand River for $1 and will are available to festivalgoers throughout the day and the weekend.

The taxi will pick up patrons at the Lansing City Market, 325 City Market Dr., in Lansing, and drop them off at Buchard Park.
