Illiteracy targeted in children's play

The first production of the 2009-10 season for All-Of-Us Express Children’s Theatre will be at 7 p.m. Friday and at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road. The performance, “How Reading Came Back To Nowhere,” is about a community of people in a place called Nowhere, who fight to overcome illiteracy and poverty after their dictator oppresses them. The play was written by Richard T. Young. Tickets can be purchased at the door on the day of production or can be pre-ordered by calling (517) 333-2580.
