Clinic offers H1N1 vaccines Saturday

The H1N1 vaccine will be available from 9 a.m. to noon beginning Saturday at Hill Career Academy, 5815 Wise Road, in Lansing. From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Dec. 16, a community clinic will be held at Holt High School, 5885 W. Holt Road, in Holt.

Tickets for the 11th annual Common Ground Music Festival are now on sale for the seven-day event. As of Monday, tickets for the July 12-18 event are on sale for $93. Ticket prices will increase to $99 on July 1.

Lack of revenue increase might lead to worse road conditions

Michigan residents might notice fewer road and bridge projects being completed if state revenues are not increased, officials said. During the next three years, Michigan could lose $1.5 billion in federal stimulus money for road repair because of an $84 million shortfall for road repair in the state’s 2009-10 budget, said Keith Ledbetter, director of Legislative Affairs at the Michigan Infrastructure and Transportation Association.
