Woman’s vodka, Louis Vuitton items stolen

A 25-year-old Chicago woman reported $3,100 of belongings — along with a fifth of vodka — stolen Saturday from her vehicle, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The theft occurred between 10:50 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. in Lot 63, where the woman’s gray 2007 Honda Passport was left unlocked and unattended. The woman left the front seat folded onto the belongings, which included a $900 Louis Vuitton purse containing a $1,000 Louis Vuitton wallet, a $500 tri-fold Louis Vuitton wallet, a $300 Louis Vuitton key chain and a $300 pair of Oakley sunglasses. The brand and amount of vodka remaining were not known. There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.
