An Xbox, two Xbox 360s, a MacBook laptop, an Asus laptop, a backpack, calculator and gloves were stolen from an Armstrong Hall dorm room during the weekend, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The items belonged to two 18-year-old roommates. The first roommate said he locked the room when he left at 5:30 p.m. Friday. When he returned at 4:14 p.m. Saturday, the items were missing.
The other roommate left the room later in the day, but said he locked the door, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The victims were not sure if the door was unlocked when they returned, but there were no signs of forced entry, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The value of the loss is estimated at $3,760, and the incident is still under investigation.
