The State News: How would you describe your personal style?
Vonsheay Brown: I just like to be comfortable, and if I can be cute at the same time, that’s good.
SN: Can you tell me about your favorite thing you are wearing today?
VB: My favorite thing would probably be my shoes. I got them in Arizona, and they’re my favorite in my collection.
SN: What colors do you generally wear?
VB: I wear very bright colors. Pink is my favorite color.
SN: Do you have one signature thing that you try to incorporate into every outfit?
VB: Yeah, pink.
SN: Where do you get your inspiration for your style?
VB: I don’t know, actually.
I just started to like pink and it stuck with me, so I’ve been wearing pink, like every day, since I was 14.
It’s just my thing now I guess.
SN: How do you think your friends would describe your style?
VB: Of course they’d describe pink, but they’d call me more of a prep because I love the collared shirts.
So they’d probably say I’m the preppy dresser of the group.
They’re more laid back, with the T-shirts and gyms shoes.
I like that too, but collared shirts are my favorite.
