Taxes: Wants to make Bush tax cuts permanent and has vowed to not raise taxes.

Iraq: Supports sending more troops

Immigration: Opposes providing citizenship (other than through current methods) and in-state tuition relief for illegal immigrants

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee

Taxes: Endorses “Fair Tax” and says he will not raise taxes

Iraq: Supports sending more troops

Immigration: Supports plan to allow some illegal immigrants to achieve citizenship

U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas

Taxes: Supports Bush tax cuts until 2010 and “Fair Tax” and says he will not raise taxes

Iraq: Supports immediate withdrawal

Immigration: Opposes path to citizenship for illegal immigrants and supports construction of a 700-mile fence on the U.S.-Mexican border

Former Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson

Taxes: Would remove the IRS and has thought about implementing a national retail sales tax instead of an income tax

Iraq: Supports troop withdrawal in 2008 if situation improves.
