Wallet stolen on campus

A wallet containing $15 and multiple forms of identification was stolen from the purse of a 29-year-old student on Monday while she was in the Music Practice Building, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The female student told police she left her closed purse in an unlocked room at 7 p.m. while she returned her instrument to its hall locker, McGlothian-Taylor said. When she returned to the room one minute later, her purse was open and the wallet was missing. The victim observed a male suspect, described as 5-feet-8-inches tall and 180 to 200 pounds, in a building hallway, but isn’t sure if he’s involved in the theft, McGlothian-Taylor said.
