Man exposes himself
An unknown suspect followed a female student riding a Capital Area Transportation Authority bus and exposed himself to her on Sunday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The suspect sat next to the victim while she rode the bus and tried to start a conversation with her, McGlothian-Taylor said. The victim ignored the suspect, but he persisted and followed her as she transferred buses at the Shaw Ramp stop. After they both exited the bus near Hubbard Hall, the suspect followed her. When they reached the courtyard between the two dorms, he grabbed her, tried to kiss her and exposed himself to her, McGlothian-Taylor said. The victim escaped and ran into Akers Hall, McGlothian-Taylor said. The suspect is described as a 6-foot-2, 180-pound male with a thin build and black hair. He told the victim that he resided at University Village. The incident is under investigation.
