Student and investigator barred from YAF meeting

A student said he was kicked out of a Young Americans for Freedom meeting on Thursday and an employee of the Southern Poverty Law Center said he was asked to leave prior its start. Philip Moon, a writer for the blog YAF Watch, said YAF members told him he was not allowed in a private meeting based on his political affiliation. An investigator for the SPLC, said YAF members would not allow him at the meeting. YAF chairman Kyle Bristow said student organizations have the authority to remove attendants during a meeting designated as private and for members only.
