An Apple iPod and case were reported stolen from a Holmes Hall room between Dec. 16 and Sunday, said MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor. The 20-year-old student said he doesn't have any roommates or suitemates and locked his door before leaving for the semester break. The missing items are worth about $400, McGlothian-Taylor said.A 58-year-old Kalamazoo resident reported her purse and its contents estimated at about $1,500 stolen from the Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education on Sunday while she attended a puppy show, McGlothian-Taylor said. The woman said she left her purse on a chair covered by her jacket and found the purse missing when she returned, McGlothian-Taylor said. The purse, estimated to cost $150, contained her wallet, credit cards, about $480 in cash, a cell phone valued at $220 and a Hewlett Packard Pocket PC, valued at about $600. Melissa Domsic
