With the schedule set for the men's basketball team, the Spartans will face one of the more rigorous schedules in the nation.
"Once again, I think we have compiled one of the toughest and best schedules in the nation," MSU head coach Tom Izzo said in a written statement.
The regular season begins Nov. 19 at Breslin Center against Florida A&M.
On Nov. 30, the Spartans play Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium for the first time.
On neutral playing ground, the schedule takes the team to Washington D.C. for the BB&T Classic against Maryland, George Mason and George Washington during the weekend of Dec. 4-5.
The Big Ten season opens Jan. 5 with a contest against Penn State on the road. The Feb. 24 Wisconsin game at Breslin Center will be a rematch of last year's regular season Big Ten title game.
Wisconsin won in overtime 68-64 and a week later, beat the Spartans again in the Big Ten Tournament.
For the second year, the Spartan Clash will take place at the Palace of Auburn Hills where the Spartans will play Stanford.
"I'm disappointed with the Big Ten schedule, because it seems that we are on the road most every weekend," Izzo said.
