A 26-year-old female called police after she awoke to a loud noise and found a man in her Spartan Village apartment, according to an MSU police report.The report showed that the man, 40-year-old Lansing resident Marvin Foulks, fled the apartment and was apprehended by MSU police officers after 4 a.m. on Friday. Police were aided by a K-9 unit and, after finding some discarded evidence, they were able to track the suspect to a balcony in the 1400 block of Spartan Village, according to the report. Foulks was arraigned in the 54-B District Court on first-degree home invasion charges, as well as parole violation, trespassing and failure to obey a police officer. He is being charged as a habitual offender and faces a life sentence if convicted, according to the report.· The Psychology Department reported the theft of three computer monitors, which went missing between 5:45 p.m. on June 14 and 11:15 a.m. on June 15 from the Psychology Building, MSU police Sgt. Maureen Kennedy said.The total value of loss is about $2,500, Kennedy said.Police have no suspects.Jonathan Malavolti
