A 19-year-old male student told police several items were taken from his Wonders Hall room on Friday, MSU police Sgt. Randy Holton said.The student said he left his room for two hours and didn't lock the door. When he returned, his cell phone, digital music player, video-game system and a video game were missing.Estimated value of the items is $550, and police have no suspects. A laptop computer was taken from a backstage area at Wharton Center between Thursday and Friday, Holton said.A 27-year-old man with no university affiliation told police he left the computer on a table Thursday night. When he returned Friday evening, the computer was gone. Doors to the area were locked when he left Thursday.Value of the laptop is estimated at $3,500, and police have no suspects. A University Apartments employee reported $12 taken from the Cherry Lane Apartments laundry office between Thursday and Friday, Holton said.An office door had been forced open, causing $50 in damage.The employee said that it wasn't the first time the office had been broken into, but Holton said he could not confirm when the last theft occurred.Unofficial police records show the office was burglarized on April 19, and about $40 in coins was taken.Police have no suspects.
