A 22-year-old female student reported a laptop and messenger bag stolen from the second floor of the Main Library on Monday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The bag and Toshiba laptop are valued at $720, McGlothian-Taylor said. The student left the items unattended to get better reception on her cell phone and returned to find them missing. A 44-year-old university employee reported clothing stolen from a locker room and equipment room in Breslin Center on Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said.Many of the items were athletic shoes and apparel, McGlothian- Taylor said. The value of the items are not known. A 60-year-old university employee reported a computer, printer and monitor stolen from the Music Building on Friday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The employee was unsure if the door to the room with the computer was left locked, McGlothian-Taylor said. The value of the computer equipment is not known. A 45-year-old female university employee reported her wallet stolen from her desk in Linton Hall on Friday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The wallet contained $100, credit cards and a driver's license, McGlothian-Taylor said. The employee said she left the wallet on her desk unattended and visited a colleague down the hall. and returned to find it gone, McGlothian-Taylor said.
