Laptop and backpack stolen from study lounge

A 44-year-old graduate student reported his backpack and $2,400 Dell laptop stolen between 2:30 p.m. and 2:35 p.m. Monday from a graduate study lounge in Erickson Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The student told police he left his $25 backpack, which contained the computer, in the corner of the room while he left for five minutes.

There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.
