We are from Minnesota and were watching the game yesterday and were shocked when Laura Heyboer went down. We don’t know where the microphones were placed but after several playbacks, we thought we could hear the bone (or bones breaking). Maybe just an awful coincidence. We have been trying to follow up to see how she is doing. Our hearts go out to her. She is an amazing and skillful player and we wish her the very best. Both of our daughters play a high level of soccer and have had to fight through injuries themselves. We know the road will be long but Laura’s story will continue to inspire young women all across our great country. God Bless!
