Former E.L. mayor to discuss travels
By Krystle Wagner (Last updated: 09/28/09 9:22pm)Former East Lansing Mayor Sam Singh will speak during the Fostering a Global Community event at 7 p.m. Thursday at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road.
Singh recently returned from a 17-month-long trip around the world. He will speak about the importance of becoming a global community and his travel experiences to 46 countries across all seven continents.
The free event is sponsored by the city of East Lansing, Community Relations Coalition and MSU’s Office of Internationalizing the Student Experience.
