Parking meter by Administration Building damaged

A parking meter outside the Administration Building was damaged between 5 p.m. Friday and 11:30 a.m. Saturday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

Two officers on bike patrol noticed the head of the parking meter hanging askew, she said. The damage appeared to be intentional and caused using an unknown object.

There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.

The parking meter’s identity is being withheld by investigating officers at this time, pending notification of the immediate family.

What you didn't have a quarter?

Maybe next time you will have the change you need. Afterall this meter costs a lot more than a quarter to replace.

Parking should be free on campus! THe univesity will get enough from a 5% increase in tuition.

Funny and true...

Heck they should be paying the students to park…Ha ha ha. With all the $ they are ranking in. Seems like the fair way to go. Afterall what is a quarter here or there, when you have billions collecting interest in the bank?
