Cancellation forces Wednesday doubleheader
By Joey Nowak (Last updated: 04/28/09 8:09pm)With the cancellation of Tuesday’s MSU baseball game against Eastern Michigan, the Spartans (17-23 overall, 8-7 Big Ten) and Eagles will meet for two games Wednesday.
Rain and poor field conditions were the reason for cancelling Tuesday afternoon’s games. The teams will meet at McLane Baseball Stadium on Wednesday for the first game at 2:05 p.m. and the second starting shortly thereafter. The two games have been shortened to seven innings.
