Swimming & diving finishes weekend
By Joey Nowak (Last updated: 01/25/09 8:48pm)The men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams wrapped up events at the Shamrock Invitational on Saturday at Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind.
The women’s team tied Denver, beat West Virginia and lost to Notre Dame in the weekend competition. The men also defeated West Virginia, while falling to Denver and the Irish.
Sophomores Kevin Puskaric and Stephanie Fisher took first in the 100 breaststroke and the 100 backstroke, respectively.
Both teams will meet Oakland next weekend.
