The pretrial conference for three former MSU football players accused of sexual assault was held off the record Wednesday morning.

Joshua King, Donnie Corley and Demetric Vance allegedly penetrated a woman without her consent and forced her to perform oral sex on them.

Corley and Vance both face one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, while King has been charged with one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of capturing and distributing an image of an unclothed person.

Defense attorneys spent approximately half an hour in Judge Rosemarie Aquilina's chambers before a court official announced nothing would be held on the record.

Prior to the hearing, King's attorney Shannon Smith said she was not sure what would happen in court because they are still in negations with Ingham County Prosecutor's Office.

Another pretrial conference will be April 4, according to the Lansing State Journal.
