On May 31, students' access to MySpartanCareer, Michigan State University's career development platform, will end. It will be replaced with a new platform called Handshake.
"Handshake will be replacing MySpartanCareer and will be your one stop shop for launching your career," MSU Career Services' website says.
Handshake will launch on June 1 and some of its features include: internship and job searches, career exploration resources, career related workshops, employer events, job fairs and career advising.
Career Services advises students to download any important documents from MySpartanCareer, as it will be unaccessible after May.
An email will be sent to students next week with login information for their Handshake accounts.
Kylie Kenyon from Career Services could not be reached for comment on Thursday afternoon.
