MSU police are asking for help in identifying two suspects in a home invasion case in University Village Apartments.
A Facebook post on the MSU police page said the suspects are wanted for questioning in a home invasion at University Village Apartments, and the police are asking individuals to contact Det. Davis at 517-355-2226 or davisc@police.msu.edu. Anyone with information can also submit a tip on their Facebook page.
The picture shows two individuals, one apparently a black male and the other in a hooded sweatshirt, on security footage early on Sept. 27.
Earlier this week, The State News reported on a theft of a $500 TV at University Village Apartments at that time.
At 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 26 and reported at 4:23 a.m. on Sept. 27, an apartment was broken into and a $500 TV was stolen. The victim is a 22-year-old male student and said his roommates left the window to the apartment open where the suspects entered. The suspects stole the TV and left through the front door, since the TV was too big to fit back out of the window.
MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor confirmed it was the same case.
