Home invasion
At 9:30 on Sept. 26, an apartment in University Village Apartments was broken into and a $500 TV was stolen. The victim was a 22-year-old male student and said his roommates left the window to the apartment open where the suspects entered. The suspects stole a TV and left through the front door, since the TV was too big to fit back out of the window. There are currently no suspects and the case is under investigation.
Harassment
Between Aug. 4 and Sept. 24, an 18-year-old female student at Wilson Hall was the victim of a series of harassment on social media. The subject, a non-student male, used social media to continue unwanted conversations. The case is still under investigation.
Domestic Assault
On Sept. 27 between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. a 20-year-old female student at Spartan Village Apartments was the victim of a domestic assault. The subject is a 21-year-old non-student. The two have a child together and the suspect is the victim's boyfriend. She asked him to leave and he refused, afterwards the argument turned into a physical altercation. The suspect was arrested and lodged in the Ingham County Jail, though the victim does not want to press charges. The case was forwarded to the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office for review.
