MSU student taken to hospital after being hit by car

An MSU student was hit by a car Saturday in Meridian Township, according to the Lansing State Journal.

At about 9:15 p.m., the student was crossing Grand River Avenue near Northwind Drive when a 44-year-old Lansing resident hit the student with her car, the Meridian Township Police told the Lansing State Journal.

The 18-year-old student was taken to the local hospital, and his or her condition was not made public.

The case is under investigation, and alcohol is not regarded as a factor.
