MSU student group hosts paper crane folding event to promote unity, peace
On Tuesday, April 22, MSU student group Global Young Leaders Network (GYLN) put on a paper crane folding event aimed to promote peace, hope and unity. Hosted at the International Center, students worked together to create 1,000 paper cranes, which will be transformed into an art installation within the building.
Bbno$ announced as MSU Spring Concert headliner
The headliner of the 2025 Spring Concert has been announced as bbno$, a Canadian rapper and singer most known for his song "Lalala" with Y2K, which went viral in 2019. The concert will take place on March 27 at the Breslin Center. Tickets are now on sale on the Spartan Athletic Ticket Office.
Whitmer delivers annual State of the State Address, focuses on higher education
Gov. Gretchen Whitmer delivered her annual State of the State Address on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at the Michigan State Capitol. Whitmer’s speech worked to appeal to both parties, advocating for bipartisan solutions to Michigan issues, with a heavy focus on the higher education of residents.
MSU student returns home after successful kidney transplant
MSU advertising management junior Liam Clegg, who was diagnosed with end-stage kidney disease in October, returned home last weekend from a successful kidney transplant and looks forward to returning to MSU in the fall.
The Gallery adds hard scoop ice cream to menu, more upgrades to come
The Gallery dinning hall at Synder Phillips recently opened a new hard scoop ice cream station. Starting Feb. 15 and 16, The Gallery will also launch new omelet and waffle bars.
