How are you celebrating Halloween?

For Halloween at MSU, many students are piecing together a costume — some scary, some funny and others outrageous — and arranging plans for the night. While some students are spending Halloween night partying and socializing, others are working, studying or still undecided on what to do. The State News caught up with several students and asked what their Halloween costume is and what their holiday plans are.

One year later, new fraternity begins to flourish

While most incoming freshmen were preoccupied by the?hassle of moving into a cramped dorm room and leaving their homes behind last fall, a few students were thinking of adding their own spin on the MSU fraternity scene. Now, the 11 founding fathers of the Zeta Beta Tau chapter at MSU have established themselves in a small house on the northwest outskirts of campus and amongst greek life.

New phone repair store opens

Students will have another option when it comes to mobile device repairs with Genius Phone Repair creating a new home on Grand River Avenue. The new business, which originated in Grand Rapids, deals with solving physical and hardware malfunctions and provides more options for student who have encountered phone troubles. Genius Phone Repair conducts mostly physical damage such as replacing cracked screens, button repairs, headset jacks, charger outlets and internal hardware and water damage. It is independent from all other carriers, such as Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint, though they work closely with one another, making the business unique from other options in the area.
