MSU Football looks to adjust and move on after suffering demolishing defeat to Michigan

This year's battle for the Paul Bunyan Trophy was pure domination, and the Michigan State Football Team ended up on the wrong side of it. The Spartans suffered a 49-0 loss to Michigan, which was the worst home loss ever in program history. The stat sheet was a good tale of the story for the whole night. MSU was outclassed in all phases, as they only could generate 182 total yards compared to Michigan’s 477.

Michigan State hockey penalty kill unit shines in series against Canisius

While the Spartans made a valiant effort all around this weekend, winning the first game 6-3 and the second 4-3, one thing that stuck out the most for the squad was the efficiency of the penalty kill unit during the highly penalized series. There was a total of 56 Spartan penalty minutes between the two games, but MSU only allowed two goals on seventeen penalties and even garnered two short-handed goals.
