After a subpar start to the 2011 season, the No. 17 MSU football team has had a week to identify the mistakes and unforced setbacks as it hopes for a better showing during week two.
After four consecutive shutouts and strong performances up and down the lineup, the Spartans (4-1-0), building on the momentum of early season success, open up a weekend home series against Bowling Green and UC Santa Barbara.
