They'd struggled with fouls and turnovers all night long and the Jayhawks had built an 11-point lead off a 10-2 run midway through the second half. But MSU has Denzel Valentine.

The Spartans first drive of the game on Saturday was an eight yard run by fifth-year senior quarterback Connor Cook. And although Cook did not appear to be injured on the play, his backup O’Connor was subbed in on the Spartans’ second drive of the game.
