Two MSU football players were arrested in Colorado early Thursday morning. Tight end Brian Linthicum was charged with third-degree assault and eluding arrest and linebacker Max Bullough was charged with a minor in position and eluding arrest, said an officer from the Pitkin County Jail. MSU Associate Athletics Director John Lewandowski said he does not know how this incident might affect the players’ status on the team and is waiting to talk to MSU football head coach Mark Dantonio. Linthicum will be a senior next season and had 18 catches for 230 yards and a touchdown last season. Bullough, a sophomore next season, had 23 tackles and an interception as a freshman last season. Both are next scheduled to appear in Pitkin County Court on April 19.
