Field hockey sees successful weekend with two wins over in-state rivals
MSU field hockey (10-7, 4-4 Big Ten) had a successful weekend as the regular season nears its close, beating in-state rivals No. 7 U-M and Central Michigan. On Friday, the Spartans traveled to Ann Arbor and defeated the Wolverines 2-1 behind goals from seniors Alli Helwig and Allie Ahern.
