The school announced Wednesday that Michigan State Madness, an annual event at Breslin Center introducing the MSU men's and women's basketball teams, will be held Friday, Oct. 4. Michigan State basketball assistant coach Mark Montgomery has been hired as the new head coach at the University of Detroit Mercy, the school announced Wednesday.
