The seniors who shaped the MSU basketball program

The graduating seniors on the Michigan State men's basketball team have been much more than basketball players. They've been leaders, developers and game changers. Following the Spartans' 67-63 loss to Connecticut on Friday, MSU's season concludes, but the legacy these seniors have left will mark the program forever.

OT loss to Wisconsin ends chapter for MSU hockey seniors

Michigan State hockey’s 4-3 overtime loss to Wisconsin marked the end of an era that's been characterized by an MSU hockey rebuild. Next season will be the first season under coach Adam Nightingale without seniors Tiernan Shoudy, Matt Basgall and Daniel Russell, a trio that has laid the groundwork for what Spartan hockey currently is. Senior center Charlie Stramel and junior goaltender Trey Augustine have also left their marks as impactful players in the last couple seasons. The future of MSU hockey now lies in the hands of those who didn’t know MSU as a bottom of the Big Ten program.

Ode, Woodard become first MSU women's basketball portal entries

Just five days after the season concluded, Michigan State women's basketball is already feeling the effects of the transfer portal. Freshman guard Jordan Ode and sophomore forward Juliann Woodard are the first Spartans to enter, leaving a roster that now faces significant questions heading into the offseason — particularly at forward, where depth is suddenly thin.
