Ray back on the field

Michigan State offensive lineman Arthur Ray Jr. is back on the practice field this spring for the first time since being diagnosed in 2007 with osteosarcoma – a rare type of bone cancer.

Softball, baseball games postponed

The MSU softball team’s doubleheader scheduled for today against conference foe Purdue has been postponed due to inclement weather forecasted in for the East Lansing area. The MSU baseball team also had its Tuesday matchup against Western Michigan postponed due to weather.

Young players earn spring reps

The MSU football team lost about a dozen or so starters from last season’s Big Ten championship team, but the good news is that its potential replacements are having a solid spring.
