About 25 East Lansing residents broke out clapping at Wednesday’s planning commission meeting after Ann Nichols, president of the Oakwood Historical District Neighborhood Association, criticized building heights in the new City Center II proposal. A new plan for a $117 million downtown development was discussed at the meeting.
