Police respond to fraud, simple assault

Here are the police incidents for Oct. 21, after meeting with MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor. Fraud A 20-year-old female student in North Hubbard Hall was the victim of a scam, costing her more than $2000.

City council approves request for new public park in downtown East Lansing

East Lansing City Council approved a formal request to Michigan Department of Natural Resources to convert the Bailey Community Center from public use to limited private use as well as designation of the northeast corner of Albert Avenue and Abbot Road as a public park at its special council city council meeting inside the Hannah Community Center on Oct.

MSU police cracking down on moped rules

Everyone sees them whiz past them day after day, but it is important that as it appears more and more mopeders are roaming MSU's campus, they understand their rules of the road as to keep themselves and other students safe.  As long as moped riders follow the laws and their mopeds follow regulation, they should be safe, according to Sgt.

UAB to present Rocky Horror Picture Show

In hopes of getting everyone in the Halloween spirit, the University Activities Board at MSU is showing the Rocky Horror Picture Show later this week in Wells Hall. This is not like any other movie-viewing experience, as this show will include a shadow cast acting out the scenes alongside the characters and there is constant crowd interaction and involvement.
