'It's On Us' week proved successful for ASMSU and other orgs involved

This is the first time MSU has changed its direction with the "It's On Us" national campaign by organizing a whole week of events to raise sexual harassment and sexual violence awareness.  “The goal of our week of action is really to engage individuals who may not of attended programs and events before, may not of been aware of this issue and its impact of the community, or may not of known how they can individually get involved in efforts to prevent sexual violence," Title IX Coordinator Jessica Norris said.

There is yet another pizza option for East Lansing residents as Blaze Pizza opened Monday at 437 E. Grand River Ave. Blaze Pizza opened among a rash of East Lansing businesses that closed during the past year.

Park District, Center City present updated views of projects to Planning Commission

The latest iterations of downtown development projects Park District and Center City District were presented to the East Lansing Planning Commission Wednesday night, and in some aspects it appears the two projects have warmed to the idea of coexistence. Attorney for Park District developer Convexity Properties David Pierson presented the project’s new site plan at the meeting.

'Forever Young': Family, friends commemorate MSU student

Startled with recognition — cars slowed as Rod Stewart's "Forever Young" permeated onto Farm Lane.  The poignant lyrics traced to sorrow but also to a flooded tap of admiration as members of the MSU community gathered at the Rock on Farm Lane Thursday night to honor the life of one MSU student, who would always "do unto others as you'd have done to you."
