MSU complies with federal Title IX regulations in short time frame, encourages community feedback

As for MSU's new policy, the Center for Survivors, MSU employee labor unions, MSU Human Resources, the University Committee on Faculty Affairs, Associated Students of Michigan State University, the Council of Graduate Students, the Council of Racial and Ethnic Students and many other faculty, organizations, staff and students collectively aided the process, according to the statement.

Wilson Dining Hall to permanently close

Among other closures for the fall semester were nine Sparty’s locations and the Starbucks located at Broad Art Museum and Broad College of Business. Culinary Services will reevaluate these retail locations after the fall semester and determine if adjustments need to be made, according to the update.

Masks to now be required in all outdoor, public areas in Downtown EL

The new requirement does not apply to individuals who are younger than five years old; those who cannot medically tolerate a mask; those who are eating or drinking while seated at a table/food service establishment; those who are exercising, when wearing a face covering would interfere in the activity; or those who are at a polling location for purposes of voting in an election, according to the release.
