‘Americans and the Holocaust’ exhibit highlights underrepresented perspectives

The Library of Michigan in Lansing is hosting an exhibit "Americans and the Holocaust" aimed at supplementing broad-based Holocaust education and presenting new perspectives about how the U.S. handled the situation. The exhibit is from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and curated by Daniel Greene with the collaboration of the American Library Association. It will be on display until Feb. 22 during business hours.

Young generations in America are growing up in a world where school shootings are recurrent. On Feb. 13, 2023, a mass shooting occurred on Michigan State University's campus, taking the lives of three students. Since then, many have reacted differently to stories of shootings and other acts of terror presented in the media.

MSU Museum's techno exhibit showcases Detroit history, culture

Running from Feb. 4 to April 30, the exhibition "Techno: The Rise of Detroit’s Machine Music" will be showcased at the MSU Museum. The lead exhibition curator and MSU english professor Julian Chambliss worked with community curator and administrative team member at the Underground Resistance (UR) John Collins to create this exhibit.
