China Entrepreneur Network hosts job hunting event to highlight international student candidates

Singing during a job interview might be unorthodox, but for media and information senior Fanmingqi Zhang, it was a way to showcase his passion and to help him overcome his nervousness. Zhang was one of the student presenters at this year’s job hunting event organized by the China Entrepreneur Network, which gave five international students the opportunity to showcase their abilities and talents in front of recruiters from three different companies.

This was the case for social relations and policy sophomore Aishwarya Suresh, who decided to join POINT, then called ONE LIFE, which is an MSU chapter of a non-profit organization that connects people to charities around the world.

On Oct. 3, students and faculty of the MSU Residential Initiative on the Study of Environment organization gathered in Bailey Hall for a regular community building workshop and made the first stitches in their crochet projects.
