MSU announces metal detectors for Spartan Stadium

Michigan State University is introducing a new walk-through metal detector system at Spartan Stadium, the MSU Police and Public Safety office announced on Wednesday in a press release. The metal detectors are part of MSU’s ongoing enhancement of the university’s safety and security portfolio.

Severe thunderstorms hit MSU

Michigan State University issued a severe weather warning last night after a heavy thunderstorm hit the East Lansing area. Several MSU buildings south of main campus lost power, including the Tree Research Center, the Food Processing Complex and the South Engineering Research Complex.
