Movies, TV shows to look out for this summer

After a year that saw a host of iconic films such as "Barbie" and "Oppenheimer," as well as beloved TV Shows like "Abbott Elementary," "The Bear" and "The Last of Us," 2024 has some big shoes to fill. That being said, there are quite a few movies and shows releasing this summer that will hopefully meet these expectations. Here is a list of movies and TV shows to keep an eye out for this summer.

Seven suspects identified in hate crime, aggravated assault at MSU Library

A group of five suspects aggravatedly assaulted two victims based on sexual orientation bias at the Michigan State University Main Library, according to the police and public safety timely warning email sent out to MSU students and faculty April 15. The hate crime occurred at the Michigan State University Library at 5:45 p.m. and was reported to MSU police at 5:50 p.m.

Activists continue protests following MSU's decision not to divest

President Kevin Guskiewicz told reporters after the meeting that the university is “doing everything to protect the endowment and our financial investments from any political influence.” Jesse Estrada White, a comparative culture and politics junior and organizer with Sunrise MSU, said that not divesting is a political choice of its own.
