"I think indigenous voices are starting to be heard a little bit more and supported in the sense of acknowledging Indigenous Peoples Day and acknowledging our Native Heritage Month and being a little bit more visible when we are acknowledging Native Heritage Month as well," Sorroche said.

Hundreds of students have registered to vote on campus at Brody Hall. Poll workers say on-campus locations are running smoothly.
Students made their way into Brody Hall on Tuesday morning to begin casting their ballots in one of the most critical midterm elections in decades.
