MSU off-campus students react to the shift to online learning

"In actuality, MSU doesn’t have any sort of obligation to help us," Chase Maples said. "We are the ones who signed contracts, right, we are the ones who signed the leases. But on the other hand, we also had signed that not expecting there was going to be a global pandemic, expecting that we were going to be going to go to school full-time with in person teaching."

Masks to now be required in all outdoor, public areas in Downtown EL

The new requirement does not apply to individuals who are younger than five years old; those who cannot medically tolerate a mask; those who are eating or drinking while seated at a table/food service establishment; those who are exercising, when wearing a face covering would interfere in the activity; or those who are at a polling location for purposes of voting in an election, according to the release.
